Kanji Tsuda is a Japanese actor.

The coffee shop where Tsuda worked is located near Aoyama Studio, so many directors or movie directors often come to eat there. His first movie was Sonatine which was directed by Takeshi Kitano. Kitano often uses the shop and Tsuda knew that, so he gave his resume to Kitano directly. This act launched his successful career. After he acted in Sonatine, a lot of jobs came to him. He has played more than 130 roles in movies, TV commercials, and plays. Most of his roles are supporting roles.
